Fiber Optic Tools

When it comes to working with fiber, it's important to make sure you have the proper set of fiber optic tools. At Fiber Savvy, we carry a wide selection of fiber tools, just about every tool needed to successfully install, terminate and test the fiber you’ve installed. Some of the essential fiber tools to have would be a fiber tester, fiber stripper, fiber cleaver, and a good pair of electrician scissors capable of cutting the tough aramid yarn used in a variety of fiber cables.

If you have never terminated fiber before and are just beginning to build your fiber optic tools supply, it is recommended to start out with our fiber termination kit, which is a great starting point for your fiber installation.

Our extensive fiber tester line has everything from loss/length fiber testers to fiber OTDRs, capable of pinpointing exactly where a break or loss is occurring in the network connection. Some of the fiber testers are also capable of certifying the cable, which certain companies may require after a fiber installation.
