This coaxial cable cutter has precision ground dual elliptical cutting blades for low effort cutting without deforming cable dielectric. This coaxial cable cutter cuts both solid and stranded unshielded and shielded twisted pair cable and coax.

There are two general types of cable strippers: manual and automatic. A manual style version consists of opposing blades like scissors.
